Ask support to confirm your site’s Formlabs Connection is ready before adding this printer.
Add the Form 3B
- Open Printers → Add Printer and enter a recognizable name.
- Choose the physical Site and select Formlabs Form 3B from Production.
- Select the site’s Formlabs Connection, then the matching device under Printer Serial.
- Save. Confirm the status updates and the loaded resin matches the physical printer.
- Prepare a .form file for this model in PreForm, upload it, and review its resin requirement before approving a test print.

What to expect
This model does not provide camera snapshots in Pluraprint.
Status can arrive later than it appears on the printer. Pluraprint does not offer pause, resume, or stop for this model; use the printer’s controls if intervention is needed.
The resin requirement is fixed by the print file. Resolve unknown resins through Material Mapping before queueing. Follow Formlabs’ instructions for physically loading resin and preparing the build platform.
